Tamara Mattingly

Tamara came to the Coalition as the House Manager/Intake Coordinator for the Ventura Serenity House. She quickly grew her position from member to Sr. House Inspector to Chair. Her positions in the Coalition are based not only on her work ethics, but because of her dedication on insuring the highest quality of Sober Living environments where men and women could recover safely. The depth of her knowledge in sober livings throughout Ventura County started back in 2007 when she moved into a recovery home as a client. She was acutely aware of what didn't work and continued to strive to find what did. From her first recovery home as a client, she went to a second home as senior resident and finally House Manager within three months. Tamara brings her unique and thoughtful experience to the job as Chair and has been dedicated to work in recovery for over 15 years.
